4th thematic workshop at A6K

The Fourth Thematic Workshop of the Space4ReLaunch project, « Launchers and actuation systems », took place on the 21st of May 2025 in Brussels at SABCA. 

Two researchers presented their significant advances in this field: 

➡️ Louise Massager (ULB) : « Health monitoring of electronics in electromechanical actuators for reusable launchers » 

➡️ Joachim Van Verdeghem (UCLouvain) : « Design of new topologies of passively levitated bearingless motors for spatial applications » 

Many thanks to Alexandre Paul for the welcome, the presentation of SABCA's heritage in actuating systems in space lauchers across the last decades, and the visit of the impressive facilities !
